South Los Angeles – Semi-Truck and 2 Sedans Crashes
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (July 18, 2016) – A semi-truck and two sedans crashed on Monday morning at about 8:35 AM in South Los Angeles, California. According to a report by California Highway Patrol, the incident left the third lane blocked.
The drivers sustained injuries and needed an ambulance at the scene to provide medical aid. However, their conditions and identities were unreleased. According to the report, three vehicles were involved, including the semi-truck, and a Honda. One vehicle rolled over the right shoulder near the Del Amo Boulevard exit, drove through a fence down the embankment, and landed near the back of a building. The report identified the building as located at 2850 East Del Amo Boulevard.
Due to the crash, the vehicles were too damaged to be driven away. Tow trucks from City Tow were requested to remove the vehicles from the freeway. Authorities are still investigating this incident, and further details will become available.
