Woman Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash in Tustin

Law Offices of Steven Zwick May 30, 2017

The woman was driving a Kia Spectra going west along Nisson Road at about 7:34 PM Tuesday night on May 23rd. The vehicle then collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck that had stopped in the middle of the street to wait for a parking spot. The Kia Spectra then spun out onto oncoming traffic and hit a Kia Forte that had been traveling east on Nisson Road at the intersection of Pasadena Avenue.

The other drivers suffered injuries from the crash, though not life-threatening. The driver of the Kia Spectra was treated at the scene for serious injuries, and was transported to a local hospital. She later died there, according to Lieutenant Bob Wright of the Tustin Police Department. Her name has not yet been released.

While police are still investigating the cause of this accident, they reported that they don’t believe alcohol or other drugs were a factor in the collision. No arrests or citations have been made.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of those involved in the crash.
